Does anyone have an idea on how to be alerted on Duplicate Detection jobs being unpublished? At times my jobs are unpublished and I would like an email on when that happens. I dont see how to create a workflow email notification.
1. I ended up using Kings Way Soft CRM source component with the source entity of "duplicaterule." (DuplicateRule is not exposed in OOB CRM Advanced Find or Workflow) 2. I created a new entity called Duplicate Detection Notification with three new fields: Name, description, and statuscode. 3. Then I used a workflow to check the status code field on the new entity. If that changes from anything other than a 2, I get an email. In a final optional step, I just delete the records created for that day after the workflow check. I have this scheduled to run once a day.
Thanks for sharing the fix here. Just to add I have seen Duplicate Detection jobs gets unpublished when you import a solution. In fact for one of the client I had this as a deployment step i.e. after importing solution, publish the duplicate detection jobs again. Its a by design behaviour but keeping in my that when you import solution it happens it quite handy.

Yes, we get releases from our vendor and we need to import those. That along with other changes we make, some times the DD rules get unpublished and then forgotten. I just needed a notification and until we have that capability, KWS comes in handy.
