Just wondering if there are apps or 3rd party tools that will allow for integrating the CRM and e-Commerce functionality?
What e-commerce system do you with to integrate with, and what sort of integration you'd like to achieve?
Normally what I've seen is a mix of a public-facing web site (could be SharePoint, Magento, or other e-commerce website) that integrates with a payment gateway. Users use the e-commerce website for registering their details, purchasing products/services/events, and making payments.
These details (products/users/purchases) are then synchronised to CRM.
To do this, there are a few options:
1) custom build - since no two projects are the same
2) Scribe/Scribe Online - ideally your e-commerce website has an endpoint for integration
3) Microsoft Connector for Dynamics - you have to build a custom adapter to integrate with your e-commerce, but it has a built-in function to integrate with CRM
Hope that answers your question.
