Hi Could someone help me how to enable the emailing functionality for MSCRM 2013 online having Exchange Online and Exchange On-Prem Users.
I have tried with Server side sync option but it works only for the Exchange Online.
So I am trying out with Email router options, So could some help me to configure the email router for both exchange online and exchange on-prem users.
Thank you in advance!!
Please find below screenshot for some guidance:
1) Incoming Profile for Exchange Online-
2) Incoming Profile for Exchange OnPremise-
3) Outgoing profile with Exchange Online-
4) Outgoing profile with Exchange OnPremise(SMTP Only)-
All the user credentials provided above should Exchange Administrator credentials so that Email router can read any user mailbox for tracking purpose.
I have provided basic things needed to configure Email router. For detailed information you can go through MS reference links:
Thank you Pradeep.
In my case our CRM online has both users from Exchange Online and Exchange On-Prem.
Here, I guess then you will need to specify Incoming(Configured For Online\ OnPremise) and Outgoing Profile (Configured For Online\ OnPremise) depending upon User is Onpremise OR Online. You can do it from Email Router Configuration Manager -> User, Queues and Forward Mailboxes TAB -> Select your CRM Deployment -> Load Data -> Select specific user one by one -> Modify -> Mention Incoming and Outgoing profiles respectively. This would be a little hectic if you have hundreds of users.
Let me know if you got any another simple way out, would be an added knowledge for me :)
