This is the scenario i followed :
I changed the filter criteria of a public view (active contacts)
but when I look after saving my changes, the change is not visible (also after change/save and publish) within the view in customisations it does not show the change.
However , i exported the solution (with that entity) and checked the xml : surprise, in the xml the change was done !
when i open the view in run time I get the expected records and after clicking "advanced find" I see the modified filter (so it correspondents with the change i made)
back to settings/customisations and opening the view there, is still see the unchaged filter.
so : to be short
I have a situation where I change a filter in customisations. the change is done (view gives rigt results, advanced find in the view gives me the right filter, but opening in customisations gives the wrong result
if you have the entity that is part of multiple unmanaged and managed solutions you may come across this issue.I have seen this issue sometime in our environment. It happens because of solution layering conflicts.
You are using crm online, right?
What if you access the Active Contacts view through the Contact entity sitemap? Is that working properly?
