By using FetchXML querry to build custom report, I get big issue to handle date and number format correctly.
By downloading default Auote report from crm online I can see it use some custom expression for fields based on a DSNumandCurrency dataset but which use SQL store proc.
Based on my situation I would like that report date and number goes correctly by using settings embedded in report template. I do not want to use regional PC setings because we are ablme to send quote to different foreign country and we have a dedicated template for that due to report fields translation.
Thnaks for your help on how to set correctly my correct date and number settings.
For exemple from our Quote template that will be deliver to French customer, date , currency, decimal separator need to reflect French settings that I would like to embedded inside the template in order to not depends on user customer PC.
Hi, if you need to make sure using the currency set by template,
So you should enable that currency in the SSRS template not in the CRM:
Maybe this link can help you?
The query in DSNumandCurrency doesn't use the local machine setting. It uses the formatting settings from the UserSettings entity. This can modified in the Personal Setting area and this should update the DSNumandCurrency dataset. You can then use this to format the fields on your report that needs localisation.
