I am in the process of migration from CRM Online to CRM On-Premises. I am successfully able to restored the on-line back-up on to the SQL Server and able to install the CRM on the server. I am getting the following error message while importing the SQL Database as a new organization via the CRM Deployment manager.
I have installed CRM Server 2013 SP 1 with Rollup 3. I am using SQL server 2012 as the backend.
I also found out that the on-line (126.96.36.1994) version of the CRM is different from the on-premises version(188.8.131.52) which I have installed on the server. My guess is that the version difference is the source of the error.
Is there any way I can install the service update 4 on the server or is there any other fix.
See the note from microsoft article on the rollup 3.
If Update Rollup 3 is applied, we recommend that you wait until Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is available before you upgrade to the Service Pack 1 release stream. This is because Update Rollup 3 may contain fixes that are not included in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 SP1. The required upgrade path from CRM 2013 with Update Rollup 3 is to first applying Service Pack 1 and then apply Update Rollup 1 for Service Pack 1
Uninstalling the Rollup 3 and installing the Service Pack 1 fixed the problem
