I am a SharePoint professional who is basically, a new one to CRM.
My work is in CRM 4.0. I have a couple of custom workflow activities to upload document to SharePoint on a row creation/update in the CRM entity.
it was successfully working till last Nov 2013 later, on record creation. Workflow doesn't gets started, from "In Progress" status turns to "Waiting" and it is throwing the following error:
"An error has occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support."
The workflow properties has its corresponding values as well, check it.
Couldn't debug the custom activity code, as the codes are in different server and the host server is different, where the remote debugger is helpless.
It will be great if i can get some suggestions/idea on the same.
Thanks in Advance!
Have you tried to enable tracing on the server to see if you are able to get more information?. Please select a weekend or quiet period to enable tracing. also please disable the trace once the traces are collected.
Each workflow will have a corresponding workflow expansion task under settings - system jobs. see if you can get more information from there before enabling trace?.
Also please check if the owner/publisher of workflow has sufficient permission in CRM as well as SharePoint.
