We have set up email router for CRM 2013. This is set to process circa 800 users mailboxes. The issue we are having is that when both incoming and outgoing profiles are enabled there is huge delays in sending email from CRM (2-4hrs).
When we disable incoming profile, or limit the amount of users, the outgoing emails send as required.
Both profiles use the same service account to connect to exchange and CRM.
Is there any particular reason that the incoming profile/number of users would upset the outgoing polling? Is there a way to optimise both profiles?
You can follow the below mentioned blog to optimize the performance.
In order to optimize the performance, we'd need more info on the specifics of the box running the router:
- Networking performance. You can measure this with the built-in CRM latency tool
By the description of the issue, it sounds very much like a bottleneck on the Router, either due to hardware not coping or the network not coping.
