I have a problem with the phone app on windows phone and iPhone as well. Still haven't tested it on Android but I assume that it will not work.

Is there anything other than the stuff I did so far to get the phone app working.
Install the CRM certificate manually to iPhone and then test. You can also check if you have chain certificates installed on Server. I have encountered similar issues which got resolved after installing chain certificates. IPhone just won't allow to use CRM App without it.
