I have configured duplicate detection for entities in CRM and it works fine in the browser, however it doesnt seem to work in the mobile phone app as i am allowed to create duplicates without warning?
Can anyone confirm if duplicate detection is supported for the mobile phone app?

Duplicate Detection works only with Main (Standard) and Quick Create Forms. They are not available for Tablets / Mobile client.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Spring ‘14 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1) bring the duplicate detection capability to CRM for tablets also.
However, Duplicate Detection only applies to
CRM for Outlook, CRM for tablets, CRM for web browsers, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013
Here's a not from Microsoft.
