I want to connect a second organization to my Outlook Client. I entered the server, selected the org and did not check the box to synchronize. When clicking ok I get the error 'Therre must be one and only one Organization record'. Can anybody tell me what's the problem?
You can synchronize Outlook information with only one organization.
You can connect to or work with more than one organization.
If you connect to more than one organization, they are both listed in the CRM for Outlook Navigation Pane.
This gives you the details for 2015, it's the same for 2013.
So you're trying to do something that is fine to do.
This may help you trouble-shoot
If for any reason, the CRM Outlook Client fails to load when you open Outlook, the Diagnostics Tool may help
Select Diagnostics from the Program list under Dynamics CRM 2013>Diagnostics>Advanced Troubleshooting>Enable the add-in.
I did exactly the steps described, and I didn't check the option to synchronize the new org. But the error message - and the configuration log too - says I had.
I'm working on Windows 8.1, Office 2013, Outlook Client 2013, connected and synchronized to a CRM 2013 On Premise. I want to add another org, CRM 2015 On premise, with no synchronization. Outlook AddIn works fine.
