I was wondering if the following is possible:
I currently have a workflow that when a case is resolved, it sends out an email to the client.
In the email I would like to add something like the following:
Your incident INC00001 has been resolved and will automatically close in 24 hours. If you feel the issue is not resolved, please click the following link to reopen your incident:
Click here if your issue was not properly resolved. INC00001
Is it possible to have the client reply/click a link to re-open the case in CRM and alert someone that the case has been re-opened?
It depends how your CRM is implemented
> Is it possible for client to click on case in crm and re-open it- If your CRM is IFD, and your client is valid CRM user (Which is not a common scenario ), then yes it can be done (Assuming your client is out side of CRM network and CRM is available only in intranet)
(You can also build a customer portal or can use third part portals like Adxstudio where your client can change status of the case and it will be updated in CRM)
> You can have workflow in case based on status change to notify concerned person.
there is nothing OOB to achieve, one option would be having internal portal and generating custom url with case ID and send it to the user, when user clicks the link in custom portal you can call CRM API to re-activate the case.
