I have a custom entity that is enabled for mobile. I can see all records and open them fine however all the fields are locked for editing. In the browser the fields are not locked and I am logging in using my credentials in both. There are no business rules or custom scripting being run on the form. I cannot seem to find any settings that enable/disable fields based on mobile.
Could someone please help me understand why all my fields are locked on the Dynamics CRM for Phones mobile application?
For existing records the fields will come as locked and you need to click on the edit button on the top and then the fields will be editable.
Thanks for the quick response. I am not seeing an edit button within the CRM for Phones app for these records.

Hi David, as the record is in active it cannot be edited at all. Change the status to active and then try.
That field is a custom field, not linked to the actual Status of the record and has no bearing on the edit status of the form. I've changed that particular field several times to different values with no result in editable status of the form. Any other ideas?
So, here's the deal. If I use the Dynamics CRM for phone express app I can edit these documents fine however when using the newer Dynamics CRM for Phones I cannot edit. Perhaps that will help in troubleshooting this?
After going back through all the settings I discovered that the setting "Read-only in mobile" was checked in the entity settings. After unchecking and reloading the config in my mobile app all is working well now. Thanks for the help.
