I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" in the Connector when I place the cursor on a particular map (Item Service to Product).
I have enabled logging for the client, and here is what's in the log:
INFO TID:1 [2015-09-10T13:50:55.4301112+03:00]: Tracing for Assembly: Microsoft.Dynamics.Integration.Client, FileVersion = 3.4.304.1ERROR TID:1 [2015-09-10T13:51:11.7894138+03:00]: Unhandled exception. I have the same information in the Event Log.
The version for the Connector is 3.4.304.1 and the AX version is 6.3.1000.309 (2012 R3 CU8).
I'd be very gratefull for any hints towards solving this.
Open the map and check some field might be showing the error, red cross sign will be coming along the field.
best you remove the connector and re-install it.
Thanks Surmeet. But the crash comes when attempting to open the map. The map cannot be opened.
Then there is a problem, delete the map and restore the oob one.
My suggestion is to first check AX service and test using dotnet application. If it is fine then in Connector Map AX service with some other service from CRM just for testing purpose. If it successful then issue will be in CRM service not in AX service.
Another thing is to update Item Service in AX. May be there is some fields missing in that case it wont map.
Hope it helps.
