We setup the fantasy sales team for Dynamics CRM 2015, online.
I am setup as the commissioner as well as system administrator for CRM.
Unfortunately I can not see all of the "+" buttons on the top Ribbon inside Dynamics CRM.
Please suggest a fix.
Below is a clip from your video, the circled items I can not see in Dynamics CRM.
Thank you for contacting FST Support. Unfortunately, your video clip or screen shot did not come through. Please clarify what buttons you are referring to. The only item that should be in the Dynamics CRM Ribbon is the FantasySalesTeam App. You may need to refresh your browser if you just did the install.
Also, I want to remind you that most FST controls are available in your Commissioner Dashboard for FST, not in Dynamics CRM. But I am happy to assist further if you provide more information.
Were you able to locate the "+" buttons you were looking for? I believe you are referring to the ability to view games, players, sales metrics, etc. within Dynamics. You can access by clicking on main button in the menu bar, then the FantasySalesTeam logo will appear in ribbon. By clicking on FST in ribbon you will have ability to view these additional pages. If I did not answer your question, please clarify.
thanks, see the buttons missing here. File now attached
David, we actually removed those items for release because they were not related to the FST app. To access your games and other areas, click the FST App in the Ribbon and additional functions are displayed. You should be all set.
What about this option to "Post Schedule" ?
Also the Games - Sales Metrics - Show "Not Setup"
We saved them multiple times and it doesn't keep the "type" saved and it doesn't save.
We made all accounts "Continuous" as a permanent default. So data will update every few minutes in near-real-time. That's why Post Schedule has been removed.
Regarding metrics not saving, you need to click into each metric and complete the full set of parameters. Meaning choosing Type as well as who should get credit, the date field to trigger by etc. If you believe you're filling all of this out and it's not saving, please provide a screenshot showing the parameters you're trying to save.
Ok, the Help video shows the buttons, maybe update it to avoid the confusion?
Sales metrics screen clipping attached.
We'll look at updating the video. Apologize for the confusion.
Re: the screenshot, are you saying when you click the Save button, that the metric doesn't actually save? Or show as Setup? That would be very odd behavior and something I've never seen or encountered.
If that's the case, any chance of taking a quick screen capture video of what happens when you click Save?
I'd also ask that you try clearing your cache, logging in fresh and see if that makes a difference.
