Default duplicate detection rules.
Export Contacts for purpose of altering an optionset field to a value which IS present in the optioset field.
Reimport generates a "duplicate record" error.
Is it possible to export/reimport Contacts that contain optionset fields?
I was hoping that the GUID would be used (as it should be) as the key and that any/all changed data in changed dataset row would import.
Hi, Are you using the Data Loader tool (lcs.dynamics.com/.../Index) to facilitate the import?
When importing records the duplicate detection rules will run if you leave the 'allow duplicates' checkbox checked. This error you are getting means that you have more than one record that matches one of the duplicate detection rules.
Hope this answers your question.
