I have created a custom entity inside of my CRM 2015 on-premises instance. When I attempt to add columns to a view, it is blank:
I've tried multiple browsers on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, etc) with no luck. I've searched here and on Google and found the common response is an issue with IE11. I've confirmed the server does not have the KB patch referenced in those articles. My primary browser is Firefox on my Mac. I have also installed Update 0.1 and that doesn't seem to fix it. Server is 2012 R2 and is fully updated.
Please help. Thanks in advance
Note sure if this is what you're looking for.
You need to go to the custom entity and open Views look for Quick Find Active.
When the window opens look for Add Fine Columns and select the fields you want.
Then go back to your view and select the fields you want
Thanks Damon, Unfortunately, its not what I am looking for. Clicking "Add Find Columns" for that view results in the same thing:
Do you have Microsoft Lync application? If yes, please read following links
-Enable or disable presence for a column
-Enable or disable lync presence for a column
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, displaying/not displaying presence is not even close to being the issue. It has to do with whether I can add columns to a view in Customizations. Having Lync doesn't effect this as I've tried this on machines with and without that application installed.
please check your browser settings. maybe helpfull for you
As I stated in my original post, I had already stumbled upon that and that isn't the issue since it occurs on multiple platforms in multiple browsers. Thanks!
whats about this information. Did you try it?
I'm having exactly the same problem, did you ever get a solution to this?
Actually, I'm only having the issue in Edge, seems to work fine in Firefox
