I am trying to add Appointments to the list of Associated Entities available for mail merge templates in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 and I am having some trouble. I logged in as the Admin and tried to customize my setup by editing the Appointment entity to do so but was not able to (the box that seemed to pertain to mail merge was unclickable).
Does anyone have any tips on how I can make Appointments an available entity for mail merge?
Mail Merge Fields have many limitations , they work well for basic record info and lookup fields, Only specific objects are supported for line items such as quotes/ products. However other 1:N or N:N are not supported for mailmerge, such as Activities
An Alternative Approach is to use a CRM Report instead of a Mailmerge, or a third party document generator such as Xperido
