This is regarding USD 2.0.1 release issue. Few days back i downloaded the USD 2.0.1 from Microsoft official site (Now this download site is also not opening from last couple of days...) and i started working on its new feature "Customization File". This new feature works fine for few of the hosted control DLLs, but its not working with the Adapter type Hosted Control which contains DLLs and EXEs both.
What I am doing is described below:
Please help us out in this as we are struggling with these USD upgradation issue from so long specially its Customization Files feature. I am assuming that Microsoft is going to fix these issues in next release of USD soon thats why i am not able to find its download link from last couple of days. Kindly revert soon on this...
Thanks for your time!

You mention a couple of issues here, one big the links to download use 2.0.1. They were down for a time but restored now. So you can try again.
Your issue with the adaptor and customization files is something we also faced. Hosted control dll was fine but adaptor would not work in customization zip file. I think it was because the zip file extracts to the appdata directory and for some reason usd doesn't seem to want to look in this location for the adaptor.
This might be a product bug, so this might not be the answer you want but I suggest you raise with Microsoft support.
In our case we were able to apply a work around which essentially involved using a usd hosted control not an adaptor. (I guess this might not be appropriate in all situations.) You may need to request support from Microsoft direct.
This issue seems to be working fine with the new release of USD 188.8.131.526
