I have a new CRM 2016 SP1 install using SQL 2016 SP1. I received This error while installing the CRM Reporting Extensions
If I hit abort it fails and then I find that the system jobs in CRM stop working. The only way I can get the system jobs working again is to restore the servers from a backup. If I choose ignore it finishes installing but when I try to create a new report I get "Invalid User Authorization" when it tries to publish it. I'm stuck and need help.
Seems like SQL Services are not running under correct service account. Plus, could you create a new report? Because, you're trying to import a 'Neglected Cases' report which may have dependent report.
I'm not trying to import Neglected Cases, when CRM report extensions installs it installs reports and that is the first one. It doesn't install any reports. I checked the SQL server and all but the SQL Server VSS Writer are using a user I created for the SQL services. VSS is using Local System. I haven't tried creating a report directly in Report Server.
Hey how did you go with this? Any joy? I've come across a similar issue I'm afraid...
Please go through the URL below to check whether you got the reporting services configured correctly before you move on to the CRM side.
