Are there any good Portal connectors out there that would let me sync data between dynamics and a website or CMS?
Absolutely. I am extremely impressed by ThePortalConnector for Sitefinity CMS with its prebuilt Sitefinity widgets it makes registration, drawing entity data, and visualisations a breeze through its drag and drop interface.
There are various other Dynamics focused CMS's from the lower priced Vertex right through to Adobe and SiteCore.
There are a few good options on the market.
I believe adxstudio use their own cms, whilst crmsynx and crmportalconnector both use sitefinity but crmsynx costs less.
I agree, we had a portal connector demo a few weeks ago. We were looking for a portal that was easy to customise and were very impressed. On the risk side, we were concerned with going with a 3rd party product but the portal connector has been around for quite some time and had a very impressive following.
Do we have any Open Source CMS which can easily communicate with CRM?
