I'm currently looking into the partner portal add-on in D365 and is wondering about the Distributed Opportunities. I noticed that the view for the Distributed Opportunities has a filter of Status Reason="Delivered".
But whenever I close the opportunity (as won), the only status reason option that I can choose from are only "Purchased" or "Won". What should be the criteria so that I can tag an opportunity as "Delivered"?
I've also check the OOB workflows for the opportunity entity to see if there are any workflows that would change the status to "Delivered" (similar to one workflow that sets the status to "Accepted" when a field is updated), unfortunately, no workflow updates the status reason to "Delivered".
Also, I've been looking for resources/blogs that can help me with Partner Portals. Most of what I can see our Customer Portals. Do you have any suggestion perhaps on where I can find materials for this?
Thanks in advance!!!
I came across this post while researching the same issue so I thought I might as well answer it. On the Opportunity Entity, there is field called "Status Reason". This field is not exposed on the form. Go to the Form Editor and add this field. Once added set the "Status Reason" to "Delivered". Note that the Status should still be Open.
