Looking at the theme.css file, I see each line contains a comment similar to the example below.
I'm unable to find an answer to what this is a reference to. Any background would be appreciated.
I have the same question. Also it okay to remove these lines?
Those are comments most likely generated by whatever tool Microsoft is using to create their Bootstrap themes. It should be fine to remove them, although I'm curious as to why you would want to.
That's what I supposed as well but I wanted to know for sure before removing them.
Reasons for removing unnecessary characters from css:
- Page loading time
- Page performance
- General code cleanliness
- Readability when editing
