Hi experts,A simple question, how do I change case note title when a case is created from the Customer Portal? Here is the screenshot.Let me know if you need further details.Regards,SdDev.
Did you try creating a workflow which checks if it is being created by system user and then update the title?
You could use the below workflow tools to update the notes title within the workflow
Hope this helps
Yes, I am trying that.
I am checking if the note title begins with "Note created on" then update the record.
But in the update record dropdown, I can't find any options related to note to choose from. Could you help in this?
Yes, you would not be able to update the notes directly. Try using the note workflow utilities shared in the above suggestions.
Any idea or demo to use this Note workflow utility?
Thanks for your help.
Haven't tried this but it would be a simple set...
1. Download & Install managed solution
2. Within the workflow editor, you will noticed few more steps
Let me know if this doesn't work and I will try it.
You can write your own custom workflow or plugin on Note creation and can update the title.
Doesn't work for me. Can you please try and let me know if it works.
Just tried and it works for me. Whats not working for you?
Refer the below screenshots-
Just noticed that you are on Adx Studio portals. I tried this on Dtnamics 365 Portals. Not sure if this will make any difference in the above solution.
