I've got a problem when I'm importing a solution from our Test to our Accept environment. It's an error on a enitity relation on Account and Opportunity
"The nav pane properties for the entity relationship role 24169a73-6047-4d33-a655-a85210bf7e87 are not customizable"
It contains the relationship "opportunity_parent_account", which is created by the system, so I can't delete it.
Our Test environment is an Unmanaged solution. We made some changes on the account form. I think that the relationship between Opportunity and Account has changed while we made the changes.
However, I can not edit the settings on the Accept environment for the relationship because it is a managed solution. Not even when I choose Customize the system.
I tried the following solutions:
- Edit the relationship on Accept --> not possible
- Edit the relationship on Test. Same setting as on our Accept environment --> Still the same error
- Match dependencies for this relationship on Test and Accept --> No differences
- Delete managed solution on ACCEPT and import unmanaged solution --> same error so I need to rollback a back up

It shouldn't matter what browser you use. Just don't use windows explorer to modify the zip. You must create a new zip file.

I am able to resolve the problem by editing the Customization.xml and commenting out a tab <EntityRelationshipRoles> for relationship opportunity_parent_account and opportunity_parent_contact.
Many thanks for putting this together. I faced the same issue when exporting a solution from v8.2 and importing into v9.0. For me there were 2 system relationships that I had to remove "opportunity_parent_contact" and "lead_parent_account"
Removing the "EntityRelationshipRoles" sections from those relationships in customisations.xml allowed the import to succeed.
In our case, we had to comment out five <EntityRelationshipRoles> Tabs:
I guess that depends on which entities your solution includes.
Definitely has something to do with 18.104.22.168. There is a new node node under EntityRelationship in the customizations.xml that wasn't there 2 weeks ago. If you remove it the solution will install just fine
