I have a tablix inside a report and when I run it, it shows the results bellow:
1. I want to write/display the first row of the results in bold.
2. Where the value of STATUS is equal to Arrested, I want to put blank results on a PLACE and SOURCE OF INFO
Please help me.
Tablix is present only in SSRS 2008.
In tablix, you can have dynamic columns along with static columns, even together if needed while in table, you can have only static columns.
For eg, suppose you want to have all the months along with a variance column and a custom calculation column. In the case of a table, you couldn't do it as you have dynamic columns (month, you will just have a single field in the query with multiple values in it). But in tablix, you can just drag the month field and then create 2 more static columns after it for the variance and custom calculation. You can play around with the rows also.

using CASE WHEN .... THEN?
You should be able to set row properties directly to make them in bold or if there is any condition you can use expression on rows
You can use write expression in source of info cell something like below:
1. For setting first row as bold add below expression to row properties>>font>>Fontstyle:
2. You can set fields empty in tablix using iif expressions:
Hope this helps:)
