Dears Can i Show / Hide Column according to some condition for any system View
Hi Mohamed, I don't this is possible unfortunately.
You can create 2 different views.
If you want to hide the column for a view due to security reason then use field level security . Otherwise you can create two view .
In earlier version you can change the subgrid column by attach custom fetchXML but in the V9.0 onwards its not working . If you want to hide home entity view column then its not possible . So use the supported method using field level security.
thank you Ridhima ,i did but i face problem that the another view appeared in the system view list but the requirement prevent this,
anyway thanks for response
yeah i mean to hide home entity view column and its not possible oob.
i try to handle it by adding web resource for the column in view .. once i finish i will share solution with you..
Hey , Did you find the solution ? Please close the thread if you could not find anything and verify any of above helpful answers .
I realise this is a late reply but in case anyone else has this as a requirement I found a way to fudge this using the beloved XRM Toolbox. If you open the view in the toolbox and then click edit XML, you can set the field width of the field you want to hide as zero; you can then use the field for sorting (and related lookup if you're using the editable grid, etc.)
