in our new D365 Online Version with new Unified Interface we are still able to define a new Default Landing Page under Personal Settings but this is not working. It is only working in our D365 Online version without Unified Interface.
Is this a known issue which will be fixed?
Unified interface - UCI app should land you in same window where you left off for the last time when you closed it.
If you are talking about welcome page, it should work in UCI not in web client.

What I mean is the landing page when stating the application. This page can be changed by each user under "Personal Settings".
If I change this to "Opportunities" the landing page does not change to "Opportunuties". It remains in the Default Landing Page defined by administration.

I tried in 3 online instances and its working, I think its issue with your instance, better to connect with Microsoft.

Have you tried this on a instance with UCI? It is working for us on the instance in classic mode but not with UCI.

We noticed the same issue in our UI environment. Have you been able to solve it?
Wondering if you've had any useful response to this? Just moving to UI here and the Home Page doesn't always go to the correctly set Default Pane and Default Tab in the Personlisation Settings. It will default to the correct Entity most of the time, but will just pick a random Area with this entity showing in it. E.g. We want default to be Recruitment / Contacts but our users are reporting that the Area it is going to is My Work / Contacts. Any other suggestions being received for this?
Can you please change the settings from User settings xrmtoolbox plugin and see if it works.
XRMTOOLBOX User settings plugin can be used to update personal settings of any users in your organization.
