Windows 7 O/S Dynamics 365 Outlook 2013 Addin launching Internet Explorer 11 with a blank window and Dynamics 365 in title bar.
Windows 7 and Office 2013, Internet Explorer 11 is patched.
Could you please clarify a few more details of this issue?
1. This blank window pop up when click on special entity or on every entity?
2. If you open the same entity in web client through IE instead of Outlook Client, would it open or got the same issue?
3. Did the add-in use to be working but begin to have this issue recently after some upgrade or it was always like this after installation?
Sometimes IE cache and temp files will cause similar issue. One quick thing you can try is to clear the IE cache, then check whether this issue still exists.
1. Every entry. Regardless of what email is selected. Dynamics is not loading at all. When selecting the Dynamics 365 Outlook 2013 Addin Icon it opens up the blank window and stays blank. No login to Dynamics even pops up. However, opening up IE 11 outside of Outlook, am able to login to Dynamics without issue.
2. Using IE 11 directly am able to login to Dynamics without issue and pull up any data needed.
3. Addin newly installed and has not been used before. Cleared IE 11 Cache and reset IE.
Issue still persists. Is there any specific settings or Windows/Office patches needed to fix this issue?
I applied additional IE 11 non critical patches using IE 11 windows update, also, I applied additional Microsoft Critical patches for Office 2013. This solved the issue. Dynamics now launching and loading successfully using the Dynamics 365 Outlook Addin
