Getting Authorization failure error-While trying to upload document from CRM 2016 on premise to SharePoint integrated website folders, even though users is a administrator in both the sites.
The document tried to upload is lesser then 5 Mb in size.
If you try to upload it into SharePoint directly does it work?
Also, can you please check the SPN - how are these set up for the CRMAppPool?
-Yes it works when i upload directly in SharePoint.
-But only through CRM if i try to upload any document even less then 5 mb getting un authorized error.
Check whether the user has the proper privileges to access the share point and try using an different browser. Normally its due the security privilege issue. Please do recheck on the same.
Is this happening only for one user or for all users?
If its for all users, and if you are using SSI, it could the integration is not working anymore.
Is there any specific entity to be checked for Security role or permission.
This issue happening for all users including CRM admin. When ever we select upload document this 401 Authorization error.
Running Below in CRM app server solved our issue,
$CertificateScriptWithCommand = “.\CertificateReconfiguration.ps1 -certificateFile c:\Personalcertfile.pfx -password personal_certfile_password -updateCrm -certificateType S2STokenIssuer -serviceAccount contoso\administrator -storeFindType FindBySubjectDistinguishedName”
Invoke-Expression -command $CertificateScriptWithCommand
