my organization uses Dynamics CRM for keeping our contacts in order.
I am learning as I go but wanted to ask if anyone knows two things:
Can I take marketing list contacts and carry over them into a Event list and if so, how?
Are there paid tutorials on how to use CRM for importing contacts and seeing why some contacts when entered on given excel spread sheet do not fully get entered and have an error code when I have entered all the information correctly?
Which events list are you talking about? Is this a custom entity, part of Dynamics Portals or Dynamics Marketing?
It seems like you are on CRM 2016 based on your tags, so I am not sure regarding the events you are using...
You can create different logic on moving data from one entity to another, such as using Workflows.
Regarding the import, go to Settings -> Data Management -> Imports.
Find your import in the list of imports and double click on it. When you open it, see the area that says failures.
Each line that fails will specify the reason that it failed.
