I have a Solution in which I have a web resource(a HTML)having customizable property = true, I exported this solution as Managed Solution and imported it in another MS Dynamics environment. Now in this another environment I tried to modify HTML a bit and it throws an error saying contact your Admin, am I missing something here, as managed solution allowed to modify in Target organization where they are installed?
If you moved it from dev to another environment you should make the change in dev and then export and reimport into the new environment.
In client environment Please try to add html web resource in new Solution and then update it
Thankyou, so webresource in same solution can not be updated?
You cannot modify any thing within managed solution. You need to add those component in new solution and then modify it.
Thankyou, it worked now, was a bit strange for me coming from Salesforce background where you can modify things if allowed by publisher.
Anyways, this was great help.
