I have a requirement as below.
MVC webpage, user can log in. Login against Active directory. Code is written in C# to do authentication against AD. After successful authentication, user redirects to the home page. The home page will have two links, one pointing to CRM and Another pointing to K2. Both CRM and K2 installed on the same server. Now, this AD authentication has to pass to CRM and K2. Therefore the user can log in one time in the webpage and use both CRM and K2. Something like SSO. MVC application also hosted in the same server. Is this possible to do? How can I achieve this?
CRM 365 is on-premise one.
Thanks & Regards,
Take a look at this: community.dynamics.com/.../dynamic-crm-2016-sso---single-sign-on
Hope this helps.
My Scenario is like below,
CRM on-premise windows authentication is enabled.
The first user performs AD auth to login to intranet laptop. user go to the browser and browse the CRM URL. CRM prompts STS window for authentication. Because laptop AD and CRM AD is different. This is the current behavior.
Currently, the user needs to log in every time when they switch between k2 and CRM. Therefore we are thinking to create an MVC application. The user uses this application to login against AD. After login user can go to CRM or K2 from MVC home page. How can i pass the authentication from MVC application to CRM. Please advice.
