Departments need to term contracts outside of the contract effective dates. Since dialogs are going away in D365, how can I accomplish this (without doing entitlements as we use Contracts differently).
The contracts are replaced by entitlements and if you don't want to use entitlements then the only option is to create your own contract entity with your custom business logic.
Hope this helps.
Is there something that will copy the current Contract and Contract line entity and make them a custom entity in D365 withouth me having to redo it all?
Also, to term contracts outside of the contract effective dates, how can I do this in D365? Do I need to create a new button, a workflow, etc...?
