In the Portal, is there a way to add an additional text field to the Cancel and Close case dialog? We want the client to add additional text when they close/cancel the case and have that displayed on the case.
I don't think that you can do it with the system dialog, but you might be able to do it by creating you own custom dialog, and performing the case closure action in the backend.
For example you would have a cancel button, which would popup a window with a text control. You would get the text that you want to insert, and on the update of the text field on the internal side, you would call a workflow to close the case.
Should not be too complex, but you will need some jquery code, and execute the proper logic in the backend.
Hope this helps.
