Need to discuss about the Phone Call Regarding Field in Unified interface. As I have created New Custom Entity . When created Entity I checked the following boxes like activities and notes.
Now I created a Activities like Phone Call . In that we have Regarding Field . But when I search the record which I created in New Custom Entity it will not searched. Even When I clicked on Change View. I only have limited option (Accounts,Campaigns,Entitlements,Cases,Contacts,Invoices,KA,Leads,Quotes,Orders,Opportunity) inside that. Can this is standard way or we can Change that .
when previously when we use Classic View in that when we go through regarding fields . on Lookup dailog we can have a dropdown button through which we can change entity that custom entity is also present there and we can select that record from there.
So my Question is that New Unified Interface. Is it the limitation or we can configure it from somewhere?
I cannot replicate that problem on my side. I have a custom entity, named "Events", and I've created a Phone Call activity. When I go to "Regarding" field, I can see the record of my custom entity and, on the view, my custom entity:

Right Now I am using Trials version of D365 CRM.
Simple I just create entity with two checkbox checked Activities and notes. and Publish /Publish all (both I had done just for if something not publish)
Then I create a record on that entity
then Go to Activity tab Click on Phone Call from the ribbon and When I Search the record it will not display
I am also using a trial version and for me it appears. And I've configured the entity the same way as you.... That's weird
just for Confirmation
Yeah, mine is previous to that. Maybe is that.

trail version of mine is 2019 release wave 2 which is latest.
what they are facing same issue or not?
It looks like bug in wave 2 as I can reproduce the same in wave to but april release is working fine. It appears that the regadring lookup field is functioning as customer field thus showing only account/ contact.
I would suggest to create a support ticket so that this can be considered a a bug and potential is released.
