I'm trying to upgrade my on premise CRM 2016 SP1 on Windows Server 2012 R2 to SP1.1, KB3203310, and getting this error.
Through my searching I haven't found much regarding this. Even viewer log shows this:
Fault bucket , type 0
Event Name: CRMmanaged2
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0
Rechecking for solution: 0
Report Id: 507e6f30-f401-11e9-80e7-00155d007203
Report Status: 4
Log file shows the same thing:
08:08:17| Error| Method not found: 'Void Microsoft.Crm.CrmTrace.TraceWarning(System.Guid, Microsoft.Crm.TraceCategory, System.String, System.Object)'.System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void Microsoft.Crm.CrmTrace.TraceWarning(System.Guid, Microsoft.Crm.TraceCategory, System.String, System.Object)'. at Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Shared.SetupBase.WaitForMsiProcs() at Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Shared.SetupBase.InitializeIpc() at Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Shared.SetupBase.Initialize(Boolean skipIpc) at Microsoft.Crm.UpdateWrapper.UpdateSetup.Initialize() at Microsoft.Crm.UpdateWrapper.UpdateSetup.InternalMain(String args)
Any thoughts here? Thanks for your time.
