I have a custom solution which is compatible in api version 9.1 and uploaded some svg but I also need to upload these svg files into my on premise crm but svg is not supported there.
Since I am converting crm online to on premise so I also need to upload svg files into onpremise which is version 8.1
Is it possible?
I have renamed a svg file like test.svg.pnp and kept the url like test.svg in websource but it doesn't work.
It wont work as it will try render it as PNG, the .SVG extension in your URL does not dictate the type.
If you are converting Online version to On-Prem, you could consider upgrading your on-prem to V9 and it supports SVG.
One other option you could consider is to write JS to download the content of the file and then programmetically render the file as SVG.
I have not tried the last option but its definitely worth googling on that topic.
