I am receiving the following error when I try to merge two Accounts:
Missing Microsoft Dynamics 365 security role. Access to Microsoft Dynamics 365 has not yet been fully configured for this user. The user needs at least one security role before you can continue.
The two Accounts are owned by me and I have the System Administrator security role. I have not been able to find any associated error message on the CRM server Event viewer.
I believe this may be an issue with associated records to the Account being owned by user that is now disabled. I saw this can be the case if the owner has Administrative access in some other threads.
When you merge - all the child records of that non-master Account will move to Master Account. There may be some records owned by Inactive user/user without security roles, for ex. Activity like Phonecall.
Verify such child records also to point out the issue rootcause.
