In CRM QA system while performing UAT we have identified few users were unable to access the price quotes until we made them as system admin(Role).
As part of our solution we haven’t modified or customized any security roles or permissions. Users with same security roles are working fine on CRM PROD.
All the customizations we made so far on DEV are available on QA now.
Having same security roles on three environments (PROD, QA,DEV) yet we are facing above issue only on QA.
recently we created replica of CRM PROD to QA. Unable to figure out the root cause
I understand that on your QA environment, you have some users who are unable to access the OOB "Quote" entity records.
When you say that they are unable to access the records, do you mean that they get an error message similar to below or they are just not seeing the records?
How are they opening these quotes records ? Do you navigate to Sales --> Quotes ?
Do these users have custom security roles or out of the box security roles? Can you also share what is their Read Privilege level on Quote entity?
As you are saying few user are not able to access , so any other user assigned same security role can access price quotes ?or is this happening for all user with assigned security role in QA system ?
