We have created a non interactive user in Dynamics CRM for SSIS Packages, i have assigned the Administrator Security Role to Non Interactive user, but when i run the package with Non Interactive user, it raised the error "An error has occurred when retrieving metadata for CRM entity 'businessunit'"
Description: An error occurred with the following error message: "KingswaySoft.IntegrationToolkit.DynamicsCrm.CrmServiceException: CRM service call returned an error: An error has occurred when retrieving metadata for CRM entity 'businessunit': An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail. (Error Code: FailedAuthentication) (SSIS Integration Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics 365, v22.214.171.12411 - DTExec, v11.0.6020.0)System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException : An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail.System.ServiceModel.FaultException : Authentication Failure". End Error Error: 2019-11-26 14:48:56.83 Code: 0x80004005 Source: BU's Dynamics CRM Source Description: Attempt to read message string for 0xc02090f5 failed with error 0xc02090f2. Make sure all message related files are registered. End Error Error: 2019-11-26 14:48:56.85 Code: 0xC0047038 Source: BU's SSIS.Pipeline Description: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on Dynamics CRM Source returned error code 0xC02090F5. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure. End Error DTExec: The package execution returned DTSER_FAILURE (1). Started: 14:48:02 Finished: 14:48:57 Elapsed: 54.64 seconds. The package execution failed. The step failed.
The "An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party" error generally means that there is a problem with the login credentials specified for the connection user.
Thanks for your response,
I have checked i can run the package when i trigger it within the SSIS Package but when i try to run the package from Sql Server Job it raised this error
"An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party"
If you can run the package at design time by executing it from within Visual Studio, but not deployed job, then it is an SSIS deployment issue. By default, those sensitive information (such as password, security token, etc.) in SSIS connection managers are protected by user key, which is tied to the user account and also the system where the package is developed. When you deploy the package, you will have to re-specify those sensitive fields in the connection manager. This can be done within SQL Server Management Studio by opening up the job definition there.
Check out one of our recent blog posts at www.kingswaysoft.com/.../Parameterizing-CDSCRM-Connection-Manager which discusses some parameterizing.
Hi Daniel Cai,
Thank you so much for your kind response,
Issue is fixed by giving the connection string through expressions,
i have created a variable string type
copy the connection string (Connection name => properties => connection string)
and put the connection string with the user's password into variable.
map variable to connection's expression (Connection name => properties => expressions)
Thanks again for your help.
