When utilizing the Reassign Records function in the Security >> Teams >> Some Team screen and you then choose the option to change ownership you get the warning message:
"Note that this will move all records owned by the selected user or group regardless of state."
This is what I want to do (I am assigning a Team to a User) but want to confirm that by reassigning ownership of records in this manner the Cascading Rules are NOT applied. That is the behavior I would expect, but would like to confirm.
Dynamics 365 CRM on-line v9x
Cascading rules apply however you assign records - it's the same behaviour if you assign an individual record, or use Reassign Records to assign all records owned by that user or team
