When using the mobile browser the CRM installed back button does absolutely nothing.
The Browser's back button works so I know the capability is there.
Can you share a screenshot of the button you're referring to?
That's interesting. I don't see a button like that when I use Dynamics in a mobile browser. Maybe it's a custom button?
It's version 9.0 mobile form right out of the box. The entity is custom but the form has not been modified. I may have to modify it to try and remove and or hide it.
I tested on version 9.1 (latest online version), so maybe that's where the difference lies. Can you share which kind of mobile device and what browser you're using? Maybe someone else in the community has seen this issue.
It's 9.0 On Premise.
I've used Chrome and Safari on an iPhone.
Chrome on a Android
Chrome on a PC emulating and iPhone
New Edge Emulating an iPhone and an Android
Is there anyone out there that can confirm that this is a bug in 9.0 and that it is fixed in 9.1.
Not the answer I needed but for anyone looking to remove the button.
Removed this from apps.js it is buried in a line of code that is about 1000 characters. Search for back-button it only appears in this chunk of code.
The file is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb\uclient\scripts
Hope this helps some one.
