3 days ago Microsoft released a new ipad download. Ever since we have done this, our ipads are now only loading the CRM mobile client not the tablet app. This only happens on ipads that are on IOS13+. If you are on the latest IOS but have not downloaded the latest CRM APP version you are fine.
Just created a MS support case but wanted to see if others are also experiencing this issue.
We are on version 8.2 onpremise.
I am seeing the same issue with the Dynamics 365 on-premise version 220.127.116.11 - iPad app version 13.20023.1 - iPad OS 13.3.1. It looks like the Dynamics CRM for Phones Express is being displayed instead of the iPad app. Earlier versions of Dynamics 365 load correctly.
Would be interested in finding knowing what resolves the issue. Hopefully we will see a new release that works on iPad in the next couple of days.
We are unfortunately facing the same issue. I noticed it after I upgraded to iOS 13.3.1.
We are using Dynamics 365 version 18.104.22.168 on-prem, app version 13.20023.1 and iOS 13.3.1
Did you get any update on your support ticket?
I logged a support ticket with Microsoft as well. I have shared environment information and logs. Haven't heard a resolution as of yet. Hopefully one will come about soon!
I just got off a call with MS. I do not have any status but have been able to show him it working on a device using IOS 12.4.5 and it not working on an IOS device 13+.
They said they will be doing more research and talking with the dev team.
Once I hear more, I will update.
We are need help asap. Our user can’t work anything on iPad after that they got download new version (CRM onpremise 8.2 also). This is critical issue.
Microsoft released a new Dynamics CRM iPad app version on 3/3/2020 in the Apple App Store that resolves this issue (or at least for my company). Hope it fixes everyone's issues!
