One of our employees has asked me if there is a way to report on qualified leads with no associated opportunity and "open" associated opportunities. When I attempt to create this report using the report wizard in Dynamics 365 I'm not getting the expected results. I use Leads as the primary record type and Opportunities (Originating Lead) as the Related record type. On the filtering options I use the following.
What is returned is only the "Qualified" leads with Opportunities. I assumed the or grouping with does not contain data would get the Leads without Opportunities, but apparently I'm wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions for this report filtering?
You want to get 1) Open or Qualify Leads with In Process or On Hold opportunities, 2) Open or Qualify Leads without opportunities, these two types of Leads, right?
If so, the report filter shown in your screenshot should be correct.
I tested based on it and can see the Leads without Opportunities.
Could you create a new Lead and see if it will appear in the report?
