I have two entities Entity A (Parent) and Entity B(child) in child entity I have account and contact lookup fields.
I have requirement where user should see parent entity based on child entity.
Is this possible by Entity Permissions? or is there any alternative approach for this?
Hi, you can use entity permissions to achieve that
Create a "Parent" entity permission for the entity B, and set the scope to Contact and associate to your Web Role
Create a "Child" entity permission for the entity A, set the scope to Parent and associate with the lookup for entity B
I've made a quick test here and seems to work fine
