I'm facing below issue while connecting CRM with console application.
System.InvalidOperationException: 'Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'https://orgnamehere.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Organization.svc?wsdl=wsdl0'.'
As suggested in given thread I'm using "ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = SecurityProtocolType.Tls12;" before retrieving service but still no luck.
are you using latest SDK assemblies?
Have you tried create record in any other entities?
Please try to upgrade the .dll to our latest version. Also, what kind of connection are you using? this is very important as well.
Please keep in mind that we deprecated the global discovery service, please take a look at: docs.microsoft.com/.../global-discovery-service-csharp
You could also take a look on this kind of connection: docs.microsoft.com/.../authenticate-oauth
