I've had end users at our company notice that thousands of emails they've sent via quick campaigns in Dynamics have suddenly appeared in their Sent Items folder in Outlook. This has never been the case before.
Is this a new setting that can be switched off?
Review the mailbox setting in Dynamics CE, if you are using CRM for Outlook it is by design, the emails will be sent using outlook.
If you want to avoid it, change the mailbox in Dyn CE to use in outgoing Server Side Sync setup and test and enable your mailbox, all the emails will be sent using the server and none will be storage in Sent Items folder in Outlook.
