one of my client doesn't have ADFS in place rather they use some other federation service from IBM (WebSeal).I am implementing D365 On premise for them. There is business requirement to hace D365 app for phones and tablets as well which sales team will use while they are out of office. So, is there any possibility of using WebSeal instead of ADFS?
Anyhelp would be appreciated.
Dynamics 365 CE on-premises IFD/Claims configuration is only supported with ADFS for enhanced SSO experience. It supports a broad range of clients like D365 for Mobile, Tablets etc. There are other third party SSO solution providers like Okta, PingFederate which has been documented to work with Dynamics 365.I see that IBM security access manager supports different Microsoft Applications over WS-FED using SAML tokens which hints that it may work however, you will have to carefully test this on your own as I do not see any such specific documentations for Dynamics 365 CE from IBM SSO.
