I am using Dynamic CRM On-premise : CRM 365. Version 1612 (18.104.22.168) (DB 9:0:6:9) LOCAL
I am getting the very slow performance of CRM. I don't find the speed of the individual calls very satisfactory.
Starting MS Office applications such as Word or Excel is also very time-consuming.
Where I can find out the reason for slow performance? How I can improve the performance of my CRM?
Since you have issues working with other local applications like Word/Excel, it appears that it could be mostly because of the client machine being used to access Dynamics 365 web application.

First thing you should check is network bandwidth. see below article.
Try deleting completed/failed/suspended system jobs records.

Revisit some of your Cusom code and see if you reduce number of service calls.
